Machining
Normal processing of rough castings begins with a metal shot blast operation prior to removal of gates, sprues and risers.
Castings are sorted by size and metal type and subsequently ground to remove extraneous material.
A specialized machine shop serves the needs of Weatherly's customers. Heavy duty, rigid machine tools withstand the rigors of machining high alloy and wear resistant iron castings.
Hazleton's traditional ability to machine the most difficult materials is an outstanding plus when considering
Hazleton as your casting source.
In fact, Hazleton's proficiency and capability to machine 700 Brinell Hardness materials has become very well known in the industry.
Our well-equipped Machine & Finishing department features a wide array of professional machining equipment, which means a quality end product for your company, as well as the end user.
Computerized Numerically Controlled Machining or CNC allows for machining of hard materials to exacting tolerances and tight customer specifications.
