Molding

Our molding operation is essentially divided into two separate operations. Large Bay Molding is performed by floor molders working with Overhead Bridge Cranes with up to 12½ ton lift capacity. This enables us to handle and roll flasked molds as large as 10' x 12' in a high bay building. A separate, semi-automated molding line allows us to produce flaskless molds from 24" square up to 60" square. All flaskless molds are handled by an International Molding Machine 7500 lb. Type AN-H Rollover and Draw machine. Both molding operations are supplied with quality, mechanically reclaimed sand prepared by a patented Hazleton Casting process, mixed and distributed by multiple continuous mixers for Furan No-Bake sand.

Standard no-bake cores and specialty sand cores for critical core production are utilized to complement our mold production. Batch core ovens are available, as well, for special material cores.

The foundry operation encompasses over 40,000 square feet to service a wide range of customer needs.
