Hazleton Casting Company has announced the
installation of an Inductotherm 350 KW VIP
Power-Track Melting System including two (2) 1,100 LB.

Hazleton, (PA), Friday, July 16, 2004 - Michael J. Leib, President of Hazleton Casting
Company, announced the installation of an Inductotherm Corporation 350 KW VIP
Power-Trak Melting System including two (2) 1,100 lb. furnaces. "The new furnaces will replace older
melting equipment and will allow us to continue our efforts to produce high quality stainless steel
and specialty alloy castings," stated President, Michael J.
Leib.
The new equipment supplements other new equipment at the Hazleton Casting Company
such as a new SpectroMAX Spectrometer with Windows 2000, Spark Analyzer, and 15" Flat
Screen LCD and a new Overhead Bridge Crane for the semi-automated molding line.
Located in Northeastern Pennsylvania, the Hazleton Casting Company ensures quality
alloy castings for a wide range of specialty alloys. Since the 1930's, the iron and steel foundry has been
casting pump components and pressure containing parts such as pump casings and valve bodies
- serving the Pump, Material Handling, Power Generation, and Chemical Process Industries.

Michael J. Leib, President of Hazleton Casting
Company, a Pennsylvania Corporation; announced
that Douglas Bicher has been appointed Director
of Sales and Marketing for the Hazleton Casting
Company. Hazleton Casting Company has acquired
the operating assets of the former Weir Hazleton
Foundry located at Rear 225 N. Cedar Street in
Hazleton, PA. Mr. Bicher was formerly affiliated
with Quaker Alloy, Myerstown, PA prior to their
closing. Mr. Bicher held a number of positions
with Quaker Alloy, most recently Vice President
of Sales and Marketing. He will have similar
responsibilities with Hazleton Casting Company.

decided to join our capable staff and management
team to oversee our sales and customer
relationship. Doug's experience and reputation
in the industry is a tremendous plus for our
efforts to expand our market horizons for our
very flexible steel and high alloy casting
